Wash couldn’t believe it.

His mind wouldn’t comprehend it.

The fact that he’d gotten up the courage to ask blew his mind, but the fact that she’d said yes, well, that left him completely bewildered.

Completely bewildered and dancing like an idiot all over Serenity.

Mal saw him and rolled his eyes.  Zoë had already filled him in on her impending nuptials (and he was none too happy about them) so he couldn’t help but try to knock Wash down a few pegs.

“You know,” he said, “there’s such a thing as excessive celebration.”

Wash’s dancing never even slowed down.
