I gotta say, Richard Castle has really won me over. Yes, he is a spoiled brat, but he's also an incredible father and a great counterpart for Beckett in solving crimes. I really excited to see how the show is going to turn out.

I'm enjoying it, too!

Is it just the one page (on the website) or do I fail at navigating?
That picture is gorgeous . . .

I think it's just the one page-a sneak peek, so to speak.

Lookie! Made new icon from pretty picture!

Thanks! I actually even considered making it my default (the one up there's been there since I started my LJ nearly a year ago), but I just couldn't do it. I'm the wabbit, yes, but I'm also the captain (long story)...and, well, Mal is way cooler than Castle. End of story.

Mal is way cooler than Castle.

Agreed. Although Castle is pretty cool too, except for the whole watching-daughter-sleep thing.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
There's nothing wrong with that. Granted his girl is getting a bit old, but I know I used to watch kids sleep even when I just babysat them. You want to make sure they're ok - that they're breathing - and they are awfully cute. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a parent in Castle's situation. I'd watch my kid, too. I'd have to make sure she was ok. I'd have to ask her my questions the minute she woke up so I didn't love my nerve.

I liked that scene. Like I said, his kid's too old for it, but given the situation, he can be forgiven.

If I'd ever woken up and noticed there was someone sitting there watching me, I do believe I'd have a heart attack. Before it even registered who it was. But I'm the nervous type.

I really can't imagine how he was feeling (or how she was feeling, for that matter), still, not exactly "cool" . . . :-)

I'll grant you it would be a bit creepy...if they were just staring at you. Having shared a room for most of my childhood with my sister, well...meh on having someone around...but staring? Yeah...a bit off. Every parent-child relationship is different, though, and for some it would be fine, I suppose.

*so* yoinking that icon...
dear sweet chubby Budda I loves me that photo!
*hummina*
What I loved about that scene was what she said...
something like "trying to figure out how to kill someone in their sleep again?" and he said "nope; not this time."
*priceless*

Oh, yeah. That was great. And help yourself to the icon, luv.

Oh, verily squeeful!

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

Okay, this is proof that my love for Mr Fillion is greater than my love for Mr Ford (seeing a pattern in my crushes, anybody?!) Back in the day, I would have bought an expensive foreign magazine just for an interview and piccies of Mr Ford. NOW, in order to get my sweaty wee mitts on the Fillion piccies and interview, I'm SUBSCRIBING to the magazine, begod.

I thought it a little weird, however, that someone who's on record as persuading friends and co-workers not to smoke, should be photographed with a cigar between his teeth...

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-03-25 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, you've got it bad. *grin*

As for the smoking thing, I agree-but I suspect it's the age old cigar thing. Cigars don't count, or some such thing. You know, traditional male celebratory thing.

But whatever. It's still a lovely, lovely piccie. (Sez I with my new icon.)

'shop it out and make it a nice pen ;)
then the concentrated hotness can be visibly write-y, too *snort*

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that's niiiice.

[identity profile] ncb1.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Got the last copy at the local B&N. I think I squeeded.

Major, major hotness.

And the looking at your sleeping kid isn't creepy. I used to put my hand on my daughter's back just to make sure she was breathing. Anyone who's a parent will know about this.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-03-26 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Bully for you for getting a copy! Well done!
