It Is Very Bad To Steal Joe Boo's Rum...
The rum's gone, you say? Well, can't have the crew not sharin...
Gotta keep up morale...
Keelhaul the drunkards!
I don't have a keel to haul you on, so...I'm just gonna steal from myself.

“I could shoot the lot of ya for insubordination, or I could join ya in a drink...and forget all about this little incident. Now, shootin’s fun, but it means cleanin’ up after, and I ain’t never much liked cleanin’, so I propose a whole lotta drinkin’ before I change my mind.”
Re: A pirate's life for me!
I can't believe that I typed "Safe"! I meant to say "Ariel". Y'know, the scene where Mal locks Jayne in the airlock and cracks open the hatch while they're exiting atmo because Jayne had sold out River and Simon to the feds. (MAL: You turn on any of my crew, you turn on me!!) That scene. Oh, well. I blame it on the allergy medicine that I'm taking right now. It's making me kinda drowsy.
I cheated on the JB line and Googled it. :p I'm not a Buffett-head, but then again I haven't had the chance to really be exposed to a lot of his work. I'm heard "Margaritaville" a lot though. That's a great song!
And, I'm guessing the movie quote is, "Keelhaul the drunkards!" I think I'll take a stab at this too and guess that it comes from Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
Re: A pirate's life for me!
As for Safe vs Ariel, please note that I said your fingers betrayed you...I so know you knew that. We ALL know that. But we also ALL misspeak occasinally. *G*
As for JB-cheater! But a fesser-upper, too, so I'll take it! And I understand that not everyone is a Parrothead-we can't all be perfect. (Insert sarcasm alert here, please.)
As for the movie quote, great guess and GREAT MOVIE. I'm not a Crowe fan, but I loved that movie for the sake of the young officer and the doctor...long, but loved it.
Wrong, though...but I see ye olde LPFF did not disappoint.
