Miles and Julien...Julien and Miles...sigh...

I've been having fun finding Star Trek clips that amuse me lately, so here's some DS9, in the interest of fairness.  Oh, and for the record, I LOVE Miles and Julien.  If you don't.  Fine.  Move along...

The linkie is a great song from My Fair Lady- "Why Can't a Woman". Perfect for this clip ;)

We all need our "hetero lifemates" as Hali calls them...
oh, these two....

Um...you do know "hetero lifemate" is how Jay describes Silent Bob, right? Cuz, um, yeah...Kevin Smith, dude. Give credit where credit is due (speaking of). I shall have to watch vid later...writing!

Well, crap...that's right...Hali calls it something else. I must think on this. Thinking is hard when you've died from laughing, you know. But yes, that was Kevin Smith. (Winnie the Pooh- *think think think*) eff. I'll have to ask her when she's in from vacation.

Somewhat random, but...must...quote...Randall...

I just made a Lord of the Rings fan vomit.

Hahaha. I have um... *looks around* acquired all seven seasons of DS9 and it has been SO HARD not to start watching (don't you love the smell of fresh, unexplored fandom waiting to be cracked open). However, I've been trying to stay committed to what I'm reading and watching instead of starting things and never finishing them, so that means I have to finish all of Farscape first. Cute clip, though. Good appetite-whetter. ;-)

Oh, DS9...I, too, watched it late. Got it from Netflix just a few years ago, as I'd missed it when it was on.

Very much worth your time.

There's a reason that when people over on startrek.com debate which is the best series, it always comes down to TNG and DS9.

DS9 is very, very different Trek, but the interpersonal relationships are wonderful on this show. Miles and Julien (best friends), Quark and Odo (begrudging comrades), and Garack in and of himself...wonderful!

OOh, oooh, ooooh! I recently watched all of Farscape for the first time- I was at and SG con and hanging with some 'scapers and one said "Hey, I have it all on my computer...want?" and my memory stick got down to some funky poaching. I recommend you have the movie "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars" at hand AS SOON as you finish the series! It was quite enjoyable, great characters. The next time I have money for it I will be buying the series (deserves my money ;) ) I also am working through fandoms I skipped and will be trying on DS9 for size at some point ;)

Well, Garak is a taylor. You're all set for trying on for size.
