Interestingly, "The Spectator" is regarded as having a right-wing editorial slant, conservative and Conservative; however, even given the damage which was done to the NHS when the Tories were in power, you would struggle to find a politician or thinker of any political persuasion who would advocate dismantling it altogether. Checking the comments after, it's a little annoying, in the middle of some careful discussion about the merits and problems of both the US and British system, to find the usual playground-level abuse of both countries.

I'm fine, although still in complete denial of the fact that I am due to give birth a week on Monday. And here's me thinking I would have two weeks' maternity leave before baby came!!
